Course description
This course focuses on the application of survival analysis methods to epidemiological studies. The statistical software Stata will be used in the course.
Prerequisites and Selection
Prerequisite courses, or equivalent
Epidemiology I: Introduction to epidemiology, Biostatistics I: Introduction for epidemiologists and Biostatistics II: Logistic regression for epidemiologists or equivalent courses, and practical experience applying statistical models.
Selection
Selection, within each category of applicants (selection category), will be based on:
1) the relevance of the course syllabus for the applicant's individual study plan/research (according to written motivation),
2) start date of doctoral studies (priority given to earlier start date).
Give all information requested, including a short description of current research training and motivation for attending, as well as an account of previous courses taken.
Prior knowledge in any software, e.g. Stata, R or SAS is strongly recommended.
