Course description
This course will have a unique focus on leadership for implementation research in healthcare and social services. It will provide students with the opportunity to learn as an international learning community, access international expertise in implementation, and network with implementation research leaders across the globe.
The course will increase participant’s personal and scientific leadership capabilities regarding implementation research. The course content includes the following topics: implementation leadership, macro, meso, and micro context prerequisites, implementation strategies, and evaluation. Successful completion of the course earns 5 ECTS.
The course builds on active learning where participants will engage individually, in groups in reading and discussion prior each course day to be prepared to participate in group works and discussions. Self-studies will take approximately one day each week.

Selection will be based on:
1) the relevance of the course syllabus for the applicant’s doctoral project (according to written motivation).
