Course description

This course introduces Occupational Science as an interdisciplinary field concerned with how what people do affects people's health, identities, and access to social participation, and how these everyday activities are shaped by social, cultural, and environmental aspects. Students explore the historical development of the field through four thematic modules and engage with key concepts, including critical and contemporary perspectives. The course supports doctoral students in interpreting core concepts and considering how occupational science theories can inform their own research projects.
