Course description

Ageing is a physiological change in our body. It affects all organs and tissues and also include behavioral changes. In this course we go try to navigate across the border between physiology and pathology of aging focusing on the cardiovascular system. We will discuss the most common cardiovascular diseases affecting older individuals, the causes and the consequences, the importance of preventive measures and need for personalized interventions.
