Course description
The course offers a comprehensive overview of the psychological, neurological, and immunological mechanisms behind placebo effects in conditions such as pain, psychiatric, and neurological disorders. It also covers the nocebo effect (negative placebo responses). Additionally, the course explores the history of placebos, current guidelines, and ethical considerations related to their use.
